Company Gatherings in Crimson Ridge
There are easier ways to spend a company day.
Most of them involve conference rooms.
Crimson Ridge gives your team somewhere else to go entirely — a travelling frontier town where people can eat, wander, compete, work together, get mildly suspicious of one another and eventually discover which colleague should absolutely never be trusted with property rights.
Whether you want something relaxed, highly competitive or somewhere in between, we can shape the gathering around the kind of day your team actually needs.
Planning Ahead
Crimson Ridge gatherings require a minimum of four months’ advance booking, subject to date availability.
For weddings, highly customized gatherings or plans involving several custom-made pieces or professional partners, we strongly recommend beginning six months or more in advance.
Some specialized experiences may require additional lead time. If they do, we will let you know while your gathering is being planned.
More time gives us room not only to create the details properly, but to make sure the people, makers and services involved in your day are firmly in place well before Crimson Ridge arrives.
Bringing Crimson Ridge to You
Crimson Ridge is based in the Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes area and travels to suitable venues and properties throughout Ontario. Travel costs vary by location and transportation requirements and will always be outlined clearly in your proposal before booking.
Harvest Festival
Golden leaves, seasonal food, live music, Town Square gatherings, games, challenges and the full everyday life of Crimson Ridge.
Frontier Fright — October
For October company gatherings, Harvest Festival can take on its after-dark side with costumes, pumpkins, haunted walks, stranger stories and a little more trouble once the lanterns come on.
Step 1 — Choose Your Time in Town
8 Hours — $12,995 + HST
12 Hours — $13,995 + HST
Overnight — $16,495 + HST
Each begins with the complete Crimson Ridge experience, including the town, Town Square, on-site town crew, approximately four hours of live music from the Crimson Ridge Trio, seasonal activities and traditions, setup, operation, cleanup and pack-down.
The Festival Is Always There
Whatever you are celebrating, Crimson Ridge remains a living seasonal town around it. During Fall 2027, Harvest Festival continues throughout the gathering — its food, traditions, games, townspeople, music and everyday town life are still happening regardless of which activities, planning style or Special Arrangements you choose.
Guest Pioneer Passes, Pioneer Feast selections, Special Arrangements, applicable travel and partner-provided experiences are added separately.
Step 2 — Your Guests
Every attendee receives a Pioneer Pass — $49 + HST per person, giving them access to the everyday life of town, their Wonder Passport, town spending money, keepsakes, bakery and Mercantile access, games, activities and seasonal traditions.
Groups under 50 are welcome. The base experience price remains the same because the complete town, crew and operating systems still travel with us.
Every Pioneer Pass Includes
Every guest who enters Crimson Ridge receives their own Pioneer Pass — a collection of experiences, keepsakes and pieces of town gathered throughout their time with us.
✓ Unlimited fountain sodas throughout your time in town
✓ Access to Abigail's Candy Shop & Mercantile and the town bakery
✓ A keepsake from every Crimson Ridge building — collected as you make your way through town
✓ Wonder Passport — stamped during your visit and carrying benefits into future Crimson Ridge visits and worlds from The Wonder Workshop
✓ Tin Pioneer Pass — carried through town and die-punched as you visit each building
✓ Crimson Ridge leather coaster
✓ Sheriff's Log & map of town
✓ Visitor of Crimson Ridge Certificate — personalized with the date and gathering and officially stamped by town
✓ Bounty cards, order slips and town papers collected throughout your visit
✓ All town games and activities — including instructions, materials and everything needed to participate
✓ Seasonal traditions — with any little creations or keepsakes you make along the way yours to take home
✓ Mystery and game materials for guests who choose to take part in the larger stories unfolding through town
✓ Participation pins — a quiet way to let our townsfolk know whether you'd like to join interactive play, appear in town photographs, both, or simply explore at your own pace
✓ Age identification for events serving alcohol, helping our townsfolk easily distinguish guests of legal drinking age
✓ Float tokens for younger pioneers to use at the Velvet Boot Saloon
By the time you leave Crimson Ridge, your Pioneer Pass has become a little collection of the town — punched, stamped, written on, played with and gathered one building at a time.
Stay for a Pioneer Feast
Meals can be added according to the length and shape of the gathering.
Frontier Breakfast — $25 + HST per guest
Midday Feast — $25 + HST per guest
Harvest Supper — $25 + HST per guest
Overnight Breakfast — $25 + HST per guest
Late-Night Provisions — $25 + HST per guest
For longer gatherings that carry well into the evening, an optional late-night service can be added after supper.
Our current Harvest menu is being built around mini funnel cakes, crisp stuffed potato cakes with savoury seasonal fillings, and a chilled lemon cream served in hollowed lemon halves for something lighter and refreshing or a coffee mousse if you’d like a little caffeine at the end of the night.
Final selections and pricing will be published with the complete Fall 2027 menu.
Menus change with the season and are built around warm, filling food served as part of life in town.
Step 3 — Shape the Day
Some teams want a good meal, a fire and enough games to make everybody forget about work for a while.
Others should absolutely be given property deeds and encouraged to betray one another.
We can do both.
Choose How Much We Lead
Fully Structured
We build the flow of the day for you and keep things moving from one part of town to the next.
Semi-Structured
We shape the Crimson Ridge pieces around your own meetings, awards, announcements or plans.
Fully Customizable
Bring us your goals, team dynamics and weird ideas and we will build the town around them.
Choose the Competitive Level
Easygoing
Guests explore at their own pace, eat, play, wander and join activities when they feel like it.
A Little Competitive
More challenges, town coins, team play and friendly rivalry appear throughout the gathering.
Town Wars
The gloves come off. Teams scheme, trade, compete, steal, accuse one another and generally make Boone regret agreeing to any of this.
Larger Town Games
Claim to Crimson Ridge
The town itself becomes the game board.
Teams become frontier proprietors, trying to acquire, trade, win — and occasionally steal — claims to Crimson Ridge’s buildings, businesses and pieces of town life.
Other teams do not necessarily know what you own. Townspeople may help you, mislead you, hand out opportunities, send you after something useless or make an already questionable situation worse.
Complaints can be taken to Sheriff Boone.
Proof is another matter.
At the end of the gathering, the claims are counted and the winning team earns a permanent place on the Velvet Boot champions wall.
Eli’s Foreman Challenge
One person gets the instructions.
They are not allowed to touch the build.
Everyone else can touch the pieces.
They are not allowed to see the instructions.
Good luck.
Teams race to complete the challenge while Eli watches the communication structure collapse in real time.
The Town Field List
Part scavenger hunt, part photo challenge, part excuse to make your coworkers do ridiculous things around town.
Your list might ask the team to get somebody deputized by Boone, land a colleague behind bars, convince Eli to dance, recreate a questionable frontier portrait or catch a townsperson doing something nobody expected.
The list can be shaped around your company, your people and the kind of memories you actually want everyone leaving with.
A Matter of Town Honour — Special Arrangement
Four familiar visitors from a long-standing rival town arrive in Crimson Ridge carrying entirely too much confidence.
They know Mae.
They know Boone.
They know Eli.
And they are quite certain their town could beat Crimson Ridge at practically anything.
Your employees may not agree.
The rivals join the gathering for a larger stretch of interactive challenges, competitions and town trouble, with Crimson Ridge’s own people firmly taking sides.
For company gatherings, their arrival can also be kept completely secret from the team until they walk through the gates.
Because sometimes the best team-building announcement is four strangers showing up and insulting your town.
A Matter of Town Honour is priced separately because it brings an additional four-person rival-town cast into the gathering.
Step 4 — Make It Yours
Company gatherings still receive the complete seasonal Crimson Ridge experience — Harvest traditions, town games, live music, bakery and Mercantile life, Pioneer Pass keepsakes and all the ordinary pieces of town that would be happening whether your team behaved itself or not.
From there, we can start making the day unmistakably yours.
Included Company Choices — No Extra Charge
Town Headquarters
For gatherings using team games, a large canvas lounge becomes your Town Headquarters.
Teams can regroup there, compare notes, plot against one another and decide which colleague has become a liability.
As the gathering moves along, new notices, clues and opportunities can appear at Headquarters — giving everyone a reason to keep coming back and checking what has changed.
There is no additional charge for Town Headquarters when it is being used as part of your Crimson Ridge games.
Boone’s Bounty Cards
The Bounty Hunter game remains part of town even when you are not playing Claim to Crimson Ridge.
Guests can earn or encounter Bounty opportunities throughout the day and, under the right circumstances, find themselves temporarily sitting behind Boone’s bars while their coworkers take photographs and offer absolutely no assistance. 😂
When larger Town Wars are chosen, Bounty Cards can also become part of the strategy.
Company Town List
The Town List can be written around your actual people.
Company names, departments, running jokes and particularly suspicious employees can find their way into the challenges.
The goal is not generic team-building exercises.
It is getting Accounting photographed behind bars while somebody from Sales somehow convinces Eli to dance.
Your Company in Town
Where it suits the gathering, we can work your company name, team names, inside jokes and people naturally into town notices, challenges and other little pieces of the day.
Your team still receives the normal Harvest Festival take-homes and keepsakes, but we can personalize pieces where it makes sense rather than making everybody feel as though they attended somebody else’s event.
Town Square
Use Town Square for supper, awards, speeches, dancing or the final reckoning after a full day of questionable frontier business practices.
Included options can also include:
Our speakers and sound equipment
An easy four-wall line dance lesson
The Memory Showing screen and projector for company photographs, history, awards, videos or a surprise from the team
The long Harvest Table, smaller bistro seating, or a combination of both
The full Harvest Pie Social, auctions, fireside gatherings, seasonal traditions and evening town life
Permanent Bragging Rights
If Claim to Crimson Ridge is part of the gathering, the winning team’s portrait earns a place on the Velvet Boot champions wall.
They may return to ordinary employment afterward.
Their victory does not.
Special Arrangements — Personalized Details
For teams that would like Crimson Ridge to carry a little more of their own identity home with them.
Velvet Boot Company Mugs — Custom Order
Proper Saloon mugs with The Velvet Boot mark on one side and your company logo, name or approved design on the other.
Use them in town and send them home with your people afterward.
Because quantities and personalization vary by gathering, these are priced according to the final order.
Velvet Boot Company Proprietor’s Sign — Custom Order
For the day, your company can hang its own handcrafted proprietor’s sign at the Velvet Boot.
Company name, event name, anniversary year or another approved mark can become part of the Saloon while you are in town — and the finished sign goes home with you afterward.
Custom Branding Iron/Food Branding Iron — Custom Order
Have your company mark appear somewhere considerably more interesting than a PowerPoint slide.
A food-safe custom branding iron can be made from an approved company mark and used on suitable Crimson Ridge food during the gathering.
Afterward, the custom iron belongs to you.
These are made to order through our branding partner and require advance artwork approval and production time.
Personalized Town Archives Collection — $25 + HST per guest
Turn the Town Archives into a company gift collection.
Eligible pieces can include candles, preserves, campfire mugs and other seasonal goods, personalized with your company name, event date, custom product names or other approved details.
For scented pieces, we can even develop the collection around scent directions chosen for your gathering.
Double-Stocked Harper’s Bakery & Candy Shop— $15 + HST per guest
Especially useful for 12-hour and Overnight gatherings, this keeps Harper’s substantially stocked as employees make their fourth entirely legitimate trip back to the bakery.
It is not another scheduled dessert course.
It is simply more Abigail.
A Matter of Town Honour — Custom Quote
Bring in the full four-person rival-town cast for a larger stretch of competition, interference and Crimson Ridge pride.
For company gatherings, their arrival can be kept entirely secret from employees until the rivals actually appear in town.
Professional Partner Experiences
Where available, additional pieces such as photography, horse-drawn wagons and other partner-provided experiences can be added according to the gathering and location.
We are selecting partners based on quality, proximity and fit with Crimson Ridge rather than tying every gathering to one provider regardless of where the town travels.
*These are some of the larger coordinated Crimson Ridge games that shape a bigger portion of the gathering. They sit alongside the town’s everyday challenges, competitions, Bounty Hunter game, coin games, parlour games and seasonal activities already happening throughout the day.
Step 5 — Tell Us About Your Team
The more we know about the people coming through the gates, the better we can shape the day.
Tell us what kind of gathering you are planning, what you want people to get out of it, and how competitive you want them to become once property rights are introduced.
You can send us things like:
Approximate date and guest count
8-hour, 12-hour or Overnight experience
Departments, teams or groups you may want us to work with
Whether you want the day relaxed, moderately competitive or full Town Wars
Any larger games or Special Arrangements you are considering
Company colours, logo files, event themes or branding
Awards, speeches, announcements or company milestones you would like worked into Town Square
Running jokes, team rivalries or particular employees we should know about
Dietary, accessibility, mobility or sensory needs within the group
Any children, older guests or other attendees who may need a different pace or additional consideration
Outside vendors, photographers or other professionals already involved
Photos, inspiration or ideas that show us the kind of day you are imagining
You do not need to build the entire gathering before contacting us.
Give us the important pieces and the people involved, and we can help work out where Crimson Ridge fits around them.
When You’re Ready
Send us your plans, questions or early ideas and we can start shaping the gathering from there.
Fall 2027 reservations are not yet open, but planning inquiries are welcome.
